Hubcast and St. James Community Square (aka The Square) are thrilled to announce the launch of a new broadcast-quality livestreaming service, located at The Square in Vancouver BC's Kitsilano neighbourhood.


With the support of Creative BC through the Amplify BC grant, Hubcast Media and The Square are combining forces to facilitate opportunities for musicians and BC’s cultural industries to broadcast their creative content during COVID times and thereafter.

 

Merging culture and technology, The Square has been outfitted with livestreaming cameras and has upgraded to a 1GB fibre optic internet connection to support artists and organizations to professionally broadcast their content to audiences virtually anywhere in the world.

MULTI-CAMERA PRODUCTION

BASIC PACKAGE

This package without add-ons is $500 plus GST

 

The base package is a three-camera remote package that is suitable for events,

presentations and performances that require simple production set ups.

​

 

Package includes:

  • Three PTZ cameras (pan, tilt, zoom) on site at St. James Community Square

  • One operator remotely controlling and switching the PTZ cameras from Hubcast Media’s control room for a four-hour period

  • Playout of lower third graphics and videos during the stream or recording that have been supplied by client such as name keys, branded slides, etc. 

  • Livestreaming of original content to customer-supplied social network such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, Vimeo  

  • Delivery of final product to client post-event

Please note:

  • Audio feed supplied by St. James’ mixing console; does not include audio technician

  • Package does not include facility rental and / or facility equipment

  • Package may require a customized proposal for more complex projects.

 

Optional add-ons:

  • Pre-production for customized lower third graphics ($100/hour)

  • Feed integration into team platforms ($250)   (Skype, Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams)

MULTI-CAMERA PRODUCTION

ADVANCED PACKAGE 

This package without add-ons is $1,000 plus GST

​

The Advanced Package is a four-camera remote package that is suitable for band performances and special events that require additional equipment and more technical support than the Base Package.

​

Package includes:

  • Three PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) cameras on site at St. James

  • One handheld remote-controlled camera for roaming inside St. James

  • One operator remotely controlling and switching the PTZ cameras from

  • Hubcast Media’s control room for a four-hour period

  • One operator on location providing a remote camera feed and on-site technical services for a four-hour period 

  • Livestreaming of original content to customer-supplied social network such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, Vimeo (copyright clearances and SOCAN fees are client’s responsibility)

  • Playout of lower third graphics and videos during the stream or recording that have been supplied by client including name keys, branded slides, etc. 

  • Delivery of final product to client post-event
